Ireland at last…☘️

A short flight (comparatively speaking) to Dublin and we are finally in Ireland. I've never been and Kathy was here once as a teenager. It was quite a thrill to finally set foot on the 'emerald isle'. We were met at the airport by our friend Sean who packed us into his car and drove us to his and Janet's home in Malahide.

It was great to meet Sean and catch up with Janet over these past few days. We've been totally spoiled and Janet even spent a day giving us a guided tour of some of the highlights in Dublin. Our short time here is drawing to an end (we leave this morning to head to Rathgar where we will spend the afternoon and over night with cousins of Kathy's mom). Tomorrow we take off on our own to visit and explore the west coast of Ireland with stops in Westport, Galway, Killarney and Dingle; after which we head home via Cork and Gatwick. While our days are short, we will see and enjoy as much as we can and we are already looking forward to returning to Ireland again in the future. Until I have time to write again 😀. Hope all is well with each of you. CJ
